This is a championship level tennis camp for 12-18 year old high school players and hopefuls led by INTENSITY's world class coaching staff. It is a challenging, positive & competitive environment where players are pushed to reach their true potential.

Qualification - Players must qualify for this program, which is limited to 28 players per week. All new players to Intensity, should receive an evaluation to make sure they are placed in a suitably challenging group. You may call 853-7727 to arrange one.

Staffing - Our staff of top coaches from around the globe bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to deliver a training program focused on the development of the complete player. Technique, strategy & tactics, physical and mental development are all addressed.

Technical/Tactical Video Analysis - Players may have their strokes and game styles analyzed through the use of video under the guidance of our staff to assist them in making simple yet effective adjustments during the week.

Physical Conditioning - is a corner stone of the camp experience. All players' physical development is overseen by a personal fitness coach who reports to the camp director. Fitness training is held in small group training sessions and in total accounts for between 45-60 minutes each day. The training is tennis specific and is led by our strength and conditioning coaches and certified trainers.

Match Play - Players will get match play opportunities in both singles & doubles each week. Emphasis will be on adherence to their game styles, understanding tactics, reading situations, and decision making under pressure. These are the key elements in the development of game sense.

Location, Schedule & Pricing - this year's camp will be held at INTENSITY, on its 7 fully air conditioned tennis courts over a 10 week period. Sign-ups are by the week, and we strongly suggest you reserve your spots as soon as possible, as space is limited.

Typical Training Schedule*

1:00-2:00: Warm-up, Live ball/Dead ball drills
2:00-4:00: Alternating Match Play, drills/fitness
4:00-5:00: Doubles play / Team Games
5:00-5:15: Recovery stretch & review of the day. Introduction to next day's agenda.

Summer camp will be conducted at INTENSITY's training facility so players have access to everything our program has to offer; indoor tennis for drilling and match play, video analysis (is available) in our media classroom combined with a world class fitness center complete with indoor track and our physical conditioning sandpit. All of these services will be integrated into each camp week to give the most intense and comprehensive training in the area, rivaling full-time academies.

Cancellations: Request for cancellation must be received minimum of 24 hours prior to first day of registered camp week to be considered for refund.
Make-ups: Can only be considered for reported absences due to injury with a Dr's note, and are subject to available space and therefore not guaranteed.

What to Bring!

  • Non-marking tennis shoes only to be worn on court. Players will not be allowed on court if they do not have suitable shoes.
  • Sports drinks & snack in a cooler.
  • Sunscreen for outdoor fitness
